- Symbol of Luck: In Chinese culture, the dragon is considered a symbol of luck, prosperity, and strength. Individuals born in the Year of the Dragon are often seen as confident and intelligent.
- Traditional Customs: Families come together to clean their homes, exchange red envelopes with lucky money, and share festive meals. Fireworks, dragon dances, and colourful lanterns are part of the traditional celebrations.
- Closure with the Lantern Festival: Chinese New Year concludes with the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day, characterized by beautiful lantern displays, parades, and traditional treats.
